• Advertising & Compliance: Displaying non-intrusive advertisements (Google AdMob & Meta Audience Network) and managing privacy consent choices via Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).

Our application integrates trusted third-party SDKs and service providers to handle cloud database storage, authentication, analytics, and advertising. These providers may collect information sent by your device according to their own privacy policies:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to send family expense updates and alert notifications.
• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Allows Google AdMob to deliver relevant ads and enforce ad frequency limits.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / FileProvider: Used when exporting financial reports to your local storage or sharing summaries.

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard your information:

• All data transmitted between the mobile application and cloud servers is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS 1.3 protocols.
• User authentication and database access are secured using Firebase Security Rules to ensure members can only view data within their authorized family group.
• Local preferences (such as Dark Mode or Currency settings) are safely stored in encrypted Android SharedPreferences on your device.

You maintain full ownership and control over your personal and financial information:

• Data Editing & Erasure: You can edit or delete any expense entry at any time directly within the app.
• Clear Family Data: Household Leads have the ability to clear shared family expenses directly from the Settings screen.
• Consent Choice Management: Users in the EEA, UK, and California can review or change their ad privacy consent options at any time in the app Settings via Google UMP.
• Account & Data Deletion Request: You can request full deletion of your account and associated cloud records by contacting our support team at the email below.

Our app is intended for general audiences and families, but is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly remove such records.

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, legal requirements, or service improvements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
